Each tape is well fixed on a wooden panel of 8 mm thickness with two nails, so it can't be taken off by time.
Sara Medhat is A Contemporary Artist/Entrepreneur renowned by her Innovation Of unprecedented Styles in Fine Arts World ,She was Graduated from Applied Arts Helwan University 2008 .. She had started her Art career inspired by Coffee and 80s music.
Her 1st Solo Exhibition (The Coffee Froth/وش قهوة ) 2019 , it was considered to be the first in Egypt and MENA region Which went Viral! Expressing Vintage life (50s/60s ) Using a contemporary everyday material like coffee With its Rusty color, texture on canvas and deep aroma, instead of traditional Acrylic/oli colors , Especially in the exclusivity in making coffee art Waterproof/dustproof for the 1st time made her a benchmark in Art Field .
She had participated in many international Exhibitions held in Vienna ,Belgium, An Award Winning artist of Indian Embassy Competition of Art, Has many curated artwork in Canada , USA, Germany ,Oman ,Saudi Arabia and many Arab countries.
Sara Medhat was born and Raised in Cairo in the Province of Trees (Maadi) where her family home has a great influence .In her early years her father have always encouraged her to explore colors , drawing places she loved in summer vacations while she recalls ‘music was Always in the Background” .Sara have always been inspired by the 80s music of her childhood .
Believing that fine art and music speak the same language.. she has got some achievements in music too as she have worked with great Egyptian and international Legendary musicians like Hany Shenoda and Nasser Al-Mezdawy as a leading vocalist from 2014 till 2017 live on Stage in many concerts worldwide besides taking the ordinary path and works a 9 to 5 job for companies as a graphic designer/ photographer . At the end of 2015, she had taken the hard decision and left her job to fulfill her dream .and lost the fixed salary lifestyle .
Fulfulling Her desire to Art Practise everyday using materials needed like Acrylics, Oil colors were too expensive for her to afford , one day she found the solution in 2018 by a coincident as she is a coffee addict The brush fell into her coffee and it gave a beautiful effect on paper , sara decided to take it further! She ,made a sketch of a lonely little girl from behind. And it was the start! She posted it on social media and made a boom! She introduced her first coffee piece in Vienna International Exhibition 2018 , Next was Belgium International competition for climate change 2019.
Afterwards, Sara decided to make her first solo Exhibition she always have dreamed about 2019.
Unlike other Artists , Sara Medhat was the first artist who was able to draw portraits with precise features in a timely manner , landscapes using only Coffee in Egypt .Sara has Worked for many Brands Brands like TEN TV , MACRO GROUP , COFFEE NAJJAR ,CAIRO COFFEE FESTIVAL, DAI GALLERYand many Celebrities were Proufound to have Her Work Curated in their Homes.
Recently Sara Medhat is obsessed with recycling Art .Using The 80s Electronics as essential elements like Cassette tapes, Floppy discs . VHS to Express Out her Love to Childhood Memories in a Pop Art Glitch Style Paintings . This Served her to gain a role for Saving Environment , Heavy Plastic Burning Devastating Consequences on Mother Earth , in addition to preserving The tapes Historical Value, with an Artistic way for The Coming New Generations to recognize previous pop culture.
Through the Co-vide times, Sara Invested in her passion, she was able to gather over 6000 cassette tapes floppy discs from governments all over Egypt’s Governments from homes, families and friends through a Whole Year, She Quoted ” Loneliness times gave me a New Experience ,and I had the time to make it grow! ) ! she Innovated A New Visual Language Of Her Own ! ... On October 2021, Cairo Opera House Welcomed Her Solo Show Exhibition Under the ministry of Culture Umbrella, She Made The First Cassette tapes Recycled Art Exhibition In The World! At the Hall of Pioneers (Salah Taher Hall) under the name Of (A Piece Of Memory), made out of Pop Legendary Singers 80s bands worldwide from 70s/80s/90s . With the coverage of well-known TV-Channels, 80s Guests of Honor (Musician/Hany Shenoda ,TV Presenter/Mervat Farrag and 90s Lyrics Writer/Antar Helal) and 80s Lovers From All over The World Showed a great interest to the her Solo Show.
This Solo Show Was Sponsored by Business Men/Celebrities who believed in the Artist Sara Medhat Potential, as she gained their trust to support her art.
She Created her Online Store Sara-arts.com to ship Worldwide her Art ,NFTs and Gifts.
Sara’s Dream is Launching her Eco-friendly Art Startup company (Sara Arts) in The Metaverse under her Web3 Domain Name She gifted herself Recently.
